BI Scoping and Needs Analysis

Through collaboration, our BI function works with clients to get to the heart of challenges their business faces. First, we qualify the realistic impact a BI implementation would have towards addressing the identified challenges. Next, we present early stage ideas and a directional proposal to show what’s possible before identifying and prioritising dependencies and impediments that need to be accounted for in execution planning. Lastly, we organise and document the output from stakeholder interviews in order to work towards a formal Scope of Work artefact.

Dashboard Design and Builds

Developing meaningful, interactive and engaging dashboards is an art. Our BI function leverages an iterative and collaborative workflow to support the journey from data to front end dashboard. Design is at the heart of each step; we ensure we fuse the business language, branding, dashboard framing consistency and digital assets across the enterprise BI landscape. Through regular collaborative cycles across build, test, user review and refine, the client is directly involved in the process – because for us, transparency is the key to success.

Onboarding and Training

Technology is an enabler. To truly maximise an enterprise Self-Service BI opportunity, however, onboarding and training is required. Afterall, the tools are only as good as the craftsman using them. Cultivating a data-driven culture requires small, regular nudges to foster adoption once the bulk of the build is done – but it’s this that will drive long-lasting change and results. We provide Gateway, Intermediate and Advanced training across Tableau, Power BI and Qlik for client BI functions in addition to end users alongside Self-Service BI adoption programme assessment and support – so we’re there to help every step of the way.

Our BI function can host and support your BI implementation across Tableau, Qlik, Power BI and ThoughtSpot while our hosting locations include Private Cloud, AWS, GCP and Vender Owned. Inclusive in the BI Hosting service is Disaster Recovery, Backups, Server Maintenance and Upgrade Support and, depending on budgets, we also look after shared application servers and dedicated servers – whatever works best for your business needs, we’re there to support you when and where you need it most.
