Manuel Blanco Viejo
CEO, Merkle Spain & Analytics Lead, Merkle EMEA
Manuel became CEO of Merkle’s Spain market after the 2017 acquisition of DIVISIDERO, a consulting firm specializing in technology and data. In 2007, he started his career in the company and five years later was appointed country manager to lead its growth and strategic positioning in the market.
Since the beginning of his career, Manuel has always been linked to the transformation of business through digital capabilities. With two master’s degrees in computer engineering and an MBA, Manuel has a wealth of experience across consulting, technology, and data. He is also an associate professor within the Digital Transformation Executive Program at IE Executive Education.
His extensive knowledge in this field has allowed him to collaborate with Fortune 500 companies, large publishers, and Ibex35 companies, acquiring deep expertise in different sectors and industries.
In addition to his leadership of Merkle’s Spain market, Manuel leads the company’s analytics division across EMEA. His team is responsible for the sophistication of the analytics practice, which is unique to Merkle, ensuring that clients get the most value out of their data and insights.

Román joined Merkle in 2018 as head of the customer development area under the position of Chief Customer Officer. Since then, he has been a key piece in the strategy and value proposition of the agency for the management of the company's accounts and services in the national market.
Currently Chief Growth Officer at Merkle Spain, Pablo leads the development of clients, new businesses and alliances with the main partners, Google, Adobe and Salesforce among others. He is part of the Merkle EMEA senior leadership team and participates in regional and global client initiatives on a regular basis.
With more than 25 years of experience in marketing, advertising, technology, business and customer strategy, he has worked for companies such as Alitalia, Amadeus, AT Internet, National Express and Tealium.
Román has an MBA and MSc in Economics and Business Administration with international exposure: Spain, Germany, Italy, France, United Kingdom, United States, LATAM and Asia-Pacific

Graduated in Mathematical Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid, his professional career is closely linked to the advertising and marketing industry, working in leading companies such as BBVA, Omnicom Media Group, Cuende Infometrics, Grupo G+J/Bertelsmann or ODEC.
Passionate and with a pioneering spirit in the world of data applied to market and media measurement, analysis and research, Luisfer participates directly leading some of the main market initiatives: GEOMEX, digital TV measurement, EGM multimedia evolution, digital audiences, etc.
This expertise has allowed him to be part of some of the main national organizations and associations: AIMC, coordinator of the AEA Digital Group, AEDEMO Board of Directors, among others. Since 2021, Luisfer is the Chief Solutions Officer at Merkle Spain.

Graduated in Computer Engineering from the University of Oviedo, Juan Ramón Fdez began his professional career as a web analytics consultant at the company MV Consultoría.
After developing his career in different business areas, in 2012 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of the DIVISADERO, a position he continues to hold to this day at Merkle Spain.
Currently, Juanra leads the operations area on a national scale, managing a team of more than 180 experts in data and technology. In addition, he is part of the Merkle EMEA Senior Leadership Team and participates in regional and global initiatives on a regular basis.

Previous to this role David also held different positions as Senior executive and C-level of international and pioneer companies in digital marketing and media, like Fibonad, NTTDocomo, Buongiorno or iTouch group. David holds a Master’s Degree In Computer Science And Biz Management, Executive MBA (IE business School, Spain), Master In Interactive Communications, among others.
