Merkle Names Dan Schmerzler, Vice President, Client Partner, Media

Merkle (www.merkle.com), a leading technology-enabled, data-driven performance marketing agency, announced the appointment of Dan Schmerzler to vice president, client partner in Merkle’s Travel, Media and Entertainment practice. In his new role, Dan will focus on the Media industry and will serve as a strategic partner to Merkle’s key clients within that practice, helping to drive business growth and promote customer engagement across digital and offline media and channels.

Dan joins Merkle from Primacy, where he served as the Executive Vice President for Marketing Solutions, leading growth and development strategies for the agency’s suite of digital capabilities. Prior to that, Dan was Vice President of Affiliate Sales & Marketing for Disney and ESPN Media Networks, where he was responsible for developing distribution marketing and audience engagement strategies for The Walt Disney Company’s linear and digital networks.
