Merkle's Bruce Hershey to Speak at Mobile Marketing Strategies Summit

May 14, 2012
Columbia, MD

Merkle (www.merkle.com), a leading customer relationship marketing (CRM) firm and the nation’s largest privately-held agency, announces that Bruce Hershey, director of mobile strategy for Merkle, will speak at the annual Mobile Marketing Strategies Summit. Hosted by Global Strategic Management Institute (GSMI), the summit, being held May 15-17, 2012 at the Marines Memorial Club and Hotel in San Francisco, will bring together mobile and marketing leaders for a series of informative presentations and hands-on workshops that cover mobile disruption, integration, m-commerce, apps and analytics.

Hershey’s session, “Mobile Marketing Fundamentals: Creating & Maintaining the Right Mobile Strategy for your Organization,” will take place on May 15, 2012 at 1:00pm and focus on understanding, creating, and maintaining the right mobile marketing strategies for brands. Hershey will delve into what is fueling mobile marketing today by reviewing some key trends that will be difference makers for mobile marketing strategies in 2012. In addition, attendees will gain knowledge about the importance of a messaging strategy that keeps consumers engaged with minimal opt-out. Hershey will discuss how messaging and strategy can be optimized through a connected CRM approach to developing a truly customer-centric contact stream.

“There is no question we are in an exciting era in the history of mobile marketing,” said Hershey.  “Companies are increasingly seeing the importance of stepping back to reflect on their mobile strategies… starting with a mobile audit, and developing mobile personas before strategies and roadmaps can be defined. I am excited to engage with industry leaders about different mobile strategies and tactics at this significant event.”
