Merkle Names Angelina Eng, Vice President, Media Platforms and Emerging Media

Merkle (www.merkle.com), a leading technology enabled, data driven customer relationship marketing (CRM) firm and the nation’s largest privately held agency, announces the appointment of Angelina Eng to vice president of Merkle’s Media Platforms and Emerging Media. In this role, Eng will focus on evaluating and partnering with best-in-class media technology platforms and solutions that drive performance and innovation for Merkle and its clients.

Angelina Eng is a seasoned executive with 20 years of digital media, marketing and operations experience, working with a broad spectrum of clients including: Macy’s, Pfizer, General Motors, Delta Airlines, Kraft Foods, General Mills and Unilever. Eng joins Merkle from Dentsu Aegis, one of the world’s leading media and digital communication groups, where she was VP, director of digital media operations for the US. In this role, Eng was responsible for defining, building and managing the digital media operations group across Dentsu Aegis, including the development of internal systems to improve communications and workflow across departments; establishment of standard deliverables and protocol; creation of ad trafficking and tracking guidelines and requirements; implementation of rich media strategy; standardization of reporting and analysis systems; and institution of media optimization best practices. Prior to Dentsu Aegis, Eng spent six years with Publicis Modem where she was vice president, digital media and operations. She is also an active member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau, where she is a part of the Ad Ops committee and the Ad Viewability committee.
