Merkle and the CMO Council Announce Marketing Innovation Award Winners

The award winners were announced on June 7 in a special ceremony at Merkle's 8th Annual CRM Executive Summit, held at the Park Hyatt Aviara in San Diego, California.

The Marketing Innovation Awards tied directly to the theme of the 2011 CRM Summit, CRM2.0: Optimizing your Customer Portfolio, where a combination of keynote addresses, intensives, breakout sessions and one-on-one guru meetings imparted practical insight for maximizing the lifetime value of customer relationships. The awards were designed to celebrate the accomplishments of companies, brands and marketing leaders who effectively drive Integrated Customer MarketingTM (ICM) through smart technology and enterprise-wide marketing process integration.

A distinguished panel of judges representing academic authorities, publishing magnates and top marketing executives from well-known brands evaluated entries across six categories. The following finalists were awarded top honors for excellence in marketing innovation:
