1. Tell us about yourself. Where did you grow up and where do you live now?
I grew up in Almada 15 minutes away from Lisbon in the south bank of Tagus river. I am now a proud East Londoner and have been for the past 3 years. Before that I lived in Madrid for 2 years where I used to do regular 12-hour round trips to visit the family for the weekends.
2. What drew you to your current career?
I was always drawn by the creative and research processes behind marketing and communication strategies. A couple of years ago, I found out about the SEO world and was fascinated by it.

Technical SEO requires a serious amount of research, technical knowledge and creative thinking. It is very often similar to an investigator finding for clues and solving mysteries which I find extremely exciting.
5. What would your advice be to someone considering a career in Technical SEO?
Keep an investigative mindset, try to keep up with the frequent Google updates and follow John Mueller on Twitter.
6. What is your greatest accomplishment?
Overseeing a list of accounts and being able to provide SEO recommendations to improve their search performance.
7. Tell us a bit about your experience so far with Merkle.
When I joined Merkle I met a very friendly, forward thinking and knowledgeable team that were always very keen to help me developing my technical SEO skills. I have learnt much more that I was expecting in such a short period of time.

Becoming an architect.
