Sun is setting on Optimize: Keep your business in the light

 

 

Google Optimize is being discontinued, leaving many businesses in need of a new optimization tool. With so many options available, it can be challenging to choose the right one. On the 24th of January Google announced that Optimize will be discontinued. You probably already heard about it and that is probably why you’re here. So I will skip the announcement and get straight to the question that every company with a Google Optimize container is asking right now: What solution should we use for our optimization efforts going forward?

There is still some time until Sep 30th 2023, but professionals working with Optimize should already start scouring the market for an alternative solution. Google assessed that their product does not offer all the features modern experimentation programs demand, and which are offered by numerous competitors. Yet, they announced that they will deploy integrations of GA4 properties with 3rd party testing platforms.

 

So what now?

Since Optimize was the only free testing tool, an investment is necessary, but how big and where? Several tools can replace Optimize. On top of your current tech stack and resources dedicated, you should take the time to evaluate your optimisation ambitions.

We’ve compiled three pillars to guide your vendor selection and start working towards greater customer experiences.
