You will be one of us in the developer team at Merkle Aarhus. We work with complex b2b e-commerce solutions and deliver strong code with roots in the TDD, XP, and BDD principles. We are energetic and friendly – and we work closely with both the front-end team at Merkle in Copenhagen and our various clients.
Our solutions are technically centered around leading commerce platforms in the market such as Commercetools and SAP CX Commerce Cloud, Scrum methods, Pair programming, TDD/BDD, and numerous other agile, progressive practices.
We expect you to know what all that means, and that you are keen on working with such an approach. Also, what you do not know yet, you must be ready to learn – as we expect you to eventually become an expert in Commercetools and the MACH principles.
You will be working closely with both colleagues and clients, i.e. through pair-programming, so that you fast and efficiently teach others as well as benefit from all the brainy heads around you. That way we can efficiently deliver solutions of the highest quality and you get up-to-speed at a high pace.
It’s a must that you are a team player, take responsibility, and are passionate about working as a fully-fledged, integrated team that delivers superb service, quality, and solutions to our clients. Most of all, you will solve complex business requirements, which demands you to tread carefully and work both structured and innovatively.
You’re a good developer who wishes to do things the right way. You’re ready to learn, to teach, and be an all-out team player, we prefer that you have experience with microservice development and Linux as a development environment. We also expect you to recognize yourself in the following:
- Responsible and service-minded
- Some years of development experience
- Experience with MACH principles and cloud based development
- Experience with REST API
- Experience with XML, Json and similar data processing
- Experience with Git, Junit and TDD
- Have a talent to acquire knowledge both on your own and in collaboration with colleagues
Is your heart racing a little now? If you can see yourself in all this – both the job and being part of Merkle – we would love to hear from you.
