Merkle-Sokrati, a leader in Paid Search & Social Advertising, provides a sophisticated technology solution to efficiently manage Digital Marketing campaigns for several large brand clients in India. The platform deals with 20M+ impressions per day, real-time optimization algorithms, a scalable & intuitive analytics platform and more – all developed in-house. We are currently a 750+ people team, and growing extremely fast to gain more market share and roll out even cooler technology solutions in Digital Advertising space.

In pursuit of this, Merkle-Sokrati seeks to hire talented SEO who has demonstrated writing experience, professional and/or academic, to build the SEO vertical and deliver best in class account management solutions with best possible SEO experience in the industry.

@Sokrati, you will:

• Implement various elements of a client's content marketing strategy as instructed by Project Managers
• Optimize current copy on a client's website (page titles, meta descriptions, h1s, alts, anchor text, etc.)
• Write new SEO-friendly copy for pages on a client's website
• Be involved in blog writing and posting
• Participate in client calls during campaign kick-off and as necessary thereafter
• Research trending topics within a variety of industries

You'd fit right in if you:

• At least 2 years of experience writing for a web-based audience as well as a working knowledge of search engine optimization best practices and how they apply to content marketing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A working knowledge of SEO and how it applies to content marketing
• Basic knowledge of HTML
• Creativity & resourcefulness
• Extreme attention to detail
• The ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
• Flexibility to evolve strategies quickly & effectively
• Experience in Wordpress and Blogger (preferred)
