Technical Writing - Sr. Associate

Job Description:

Experience : 2 to 3 years

Work Timings : 6.30 pm to 3.30 am (Night Shift)

Responsibilities:

  • Create and refine technical information and other materials for explaining products and services
  • Write articles to provide troubleshooting and bug fixes
  • Use a template for content
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
  • Suggest best practices and optimizations throughout content generation projects
  • Collaborate with fellow technical communicators and content creators
  • Create technical documents that convey accurate messaging for the project/client’s platform(s)
  • QA content for errors
  • Manage projects within content specifications
  • Use company brand voice and messaging for written pieces to reinforce the company culture
  • Provide feedback, and recommend changes whenever possible
  • Regularly participate in status and writing staff meetings
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing or software documentation
  • Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and PDF Software such as Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Fluency in English
  • Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of Markdown and HTML is a plus
  • Experience with digital media formats preferred

We’re looking for a technical writer with a recent portfolio; please submit sample articles that have been published within the past three years for consideration. Older samples will be accepted only if accompanied by newer works.
