Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with Solution Transformation Lead, Solution Transformation Architect, Solution Coordinator, Developers, QA, Operations to support the solution delivery process
- Synthesize information into concise, readable, unambiguous written requirements supported by clear data analysis and explanations at multiple levels of detail
- Understand client data as well as written requirements specifications, from initial creation, through change management and solution delivery
- Take direction from Solution Transformation Lead, Solution Transformation Architect, and Solution Coordinator regarding approach, scope, risks, and timelines
- Assist with the delivery of enhancements into production solutions by supporting the QA process, according to Merkle’s defined standards
- Heavy data management, organization, and analysis to support the requirements process
- May have responsibility for quality assurance in the context of change requests
Key Skills and Experience:
- Qualified individuals having the Merkle attributes of being smart, curious, committed to vision, passionate, fun/pleasant, an achiever and having a sense of urgency
- Basic understanding of Data Driven Marketing, especially: Database Marketing, Direct Marketing, Email Marketing, Interactive Marketing, Digital Marketing
- Skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio or related tools
- Experience with use of query languages to conduct detailed data analysis
- Willingness and ability to learn Cloud database technology (BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, Snowflake) in addition to SQL
- Basic understanding of relational database design concepts [e.g., table design, table relationships (e.g., one-to-one, one-to-many), primary and foreign key designations, etc.]
- Ability to articulate data analysis into summarized and actionable requirements
- Ability to thrive in a complex environment, rapidly comprehend and work in complex data structures
- Exhibits intense curiosity, to dig beneath the superficial and identify facts
- Ability to utilize data to drive to the root of questions/issues/concerns, identify next steps, and efficiently and effectively get to the resolution
- Ability to write detailed use cases and requirement specifications for solution delivery
- Experience with full lifecycle software implementations (SDLC) involving large databases is a plus
- Experience with test planning and use cases is a plus
- JIRA, Rally, or other tracking tools is a plus
- Agile Methodologies implementations - Scrum/Kanban models is a plus
Qualifications/Certifications:
Bachelor's / Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
