Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks
  • Write clean, testable code using .NET programming languages
  • Develop technical specifications and architecture
  • Test and debug various .NET applications
  • Review and refactor code
  • Deploy fully functional applications
  • Maintain and upgrade existing programs
  • Document development and operational procedures
Qualifications:

Personal requirements

  • Positive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process
  • Demonstrated ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-term
  • Enterprise software company experience
  • Fluent English required both written and verbal, French desirable
  • Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, and clear status updates. Both on-site and remotely

 

Technical requirements

  • Experience with Domain Driven Design methodology
  • Advanced and up to date .Net / C# skills, F# a plus - Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL as well as EntityFramework and the tradeoffs involved
  • Experience with Document-Oriented Databases
  • Experience of high availability distributed systems, micro-service architectures
  • Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices
  • Experience with Git / GitFlow / Merge Requests
  • Understanding of public APIs concerns. REST principles, versioning
  • Understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript as well as SPA (Angular) / Backend interactions
  • Reasonable knowledge of the Azure public cloud
  • Experience with Xamarin / MAUI a plus
  • Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance
  • Basic understanding of DevSecOps principles
  • Understanding of always-on deployment scenarios
  • Able to maintain CI/CD and PR gates on Azure Devops
  • Experience of external API integrations, including payment gateways
  • Experience with reliable message-based systems
  • Reasonable Unit Test coverage of code is expected
  •  Able to diagnose issues from limited logs / stack-traces
  •  Able to understand in-depth used libraries from source-code
