Job Description:

The Manager of Advanced TV Activation will lead the video activation team for a large healthcare client with over $15M in the channel annually across connected TV (CTV), addressable TV (ATV) and Over The Top (OTT) inventory. This role will be responsible for activation with partners, internal strategy sessions and external client facing presentations including performance readouts and strategic recommendations. Internally this individual will also serve as an expert in the performance advanced TV team providing guidance to other team members and accounts. The growth potential of this individual includes managing multiple teams and accounts after successful results in the first 12-24 months.

Key Responsibilities


Video Investment, Strategy and Activation:
•    Maintain marketplace expertise and keep current with trends, tools, strategies, research, resources and associations across all advanced television mediums (Connected TV [CTV], Over The Top [OTT] and Addressable TV[ATV])
•    Develop relationships with key media vendors 
•    Oversee client’s video investment activities as well as provide activation strategies and recommendations that are tailored to the client’s business model and goals to ensure all campaigns meet performance targets
•    Provide guidance to associate level team members and grow an advanced TV activation team environment via 1:1 training and coaching of assigned staff

 
Client & Internal Relationships:

•    Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients at all levels
•    Manage expectations of client and their deliverables
•    Accurately represent the client’s point of view when reviewing work, leverage this perspective when providing feedback to team and presenting to client
•    Grow business opportunities within current clients
•    Establishes strong internal relationships with other account leaders 
•    Demonstrate strong problem solving and solutioning capabilities
•    Ensure key information is provided to leadership team regarding client issues, internal agency issues, changes in account status, etc.
•    Establish and maintain communications process with clients, media teams, creative, etc. for each piece of business within the team
•    Adapt communications style to relevant audience
•    Link communication to audience’s concerns and perspectives
 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years of video investment experience
  • 3+ years of media strategy and activation experience
  • Understanding of advanced TV (ATV, OTT, CTV) and the future development of TV (1st Screen Ads, In-Stream Advertising, etc.)
  • Knowledge of other media types (social, display, digital out of home, SEM, linear TV)
  • Experience planning & buying media campaigns
  • Experience planning, developing, and activation of TV strategies, including those that are optimized to client KPIs and Benchmarks
  • Previous strong relationships with media partners, clients, and colleagues
  • Proven history of convincing clients of recommended strategies
  • Previous work experience in a fast past or start-up environment
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable performing analysis on campaign
  • Experience working with advanced analytics teams
