Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Managing the day-to-day client interaction and expectations for medium-large scale projects
  • Continually seeking and capitalising upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Engaging in Steering Committee meetings meetings with the client during project lifecycle, ensuring all risks, issues, actions, and dependencies are clearly documented, communicated, and understood
  • Proactively managing and handling issues and escalations, understanding their relevant priorities and managing expectations accordingly
  • Effectively estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements, securing resources and building realistic / optimised plans for the successful delivery of the project(s) to the agreed scope and budget.
  • Monitor and track all activities and takes action where these deviate from the plan.whilst ensuring timesheets are completed each month and submitted to the PMO
  • Facilitating governance and reporting cadence (PSRs and Status Reports), whilst ensuring that overall accountability for delivery is maintained.
  • Managing and the full SDLC of a project including initiation and handover to the client and Regional Hubs
  • Actively developing relationships with internal and multiple 3rd Parties including offshore teams and working with them to optimize and enhance our delivery capability
  • Constantly being on the lookout for improvements, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer and towards internal processes
  • Owning program specific contractual agreements and ensuring DAN are within protocols and protected at all times
  • Creating and owning detailed plans which are approved for delivery by appropriate stakeholders and ensuring agreement on the project methodology
  • Ensuring the correct project artefacts are utilised based on the Project Risk Index
  • Adhering and contributing to the DAN best practices and way of working inline with Product Operations

Technical & Technology Related:

  • • Track record in delivering projects across multiple technologies in a complex environment
  • • Previous experience in a Managerct Management role in technology is essential
  • • A degree in IT / Computer Science – preferred but not essential
  • • Good technical understanding of Software release processes and the tools used to facilitate them
  • • Demonstrable experience of inbedding Agile (Kanban & Scrum) & Waterfall delivery methods
  • • Experience in using PM tools in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • • Experience in generating and maintaining Project artefacts
  • • Strong written skills including technical writing skills
  • • Exposure to Product Management would be highly beneficial
  • • Understanding or Lean and/or six sigma methodologies
  • • SaaS, AWS, Azure, data migration experience
  • • ITIL exposure

  • Demonstrates a flexible approach to suit the needs of different audiences
  • Detailed planning approach to day-to-day activities
  • Ability to work autonomously and a self motivator who is proactive with q positive attitude
