Merkle Announces Expansion of Technology Team

Merkle (www.merkle.com), a leading technology-enabled, data-driven customer experience management (CXM) company, today announced three new leadership positions on their Technology team. Roles include Matthew Mobley, who was named as EVP, chief technology officer, Americas; Pete Rogers, technology consulting leader; and Mark Engelke, growth officer.

Matthew Mobley will assume the technology leadership role across the Technology Service Line for Merkle Americas. Mobley has been a crucial part of Merkle’s success over the past eight years setting strategic agendas across many parts of the broader technology business. In this new role, he will be responsible for technology strategy, data transformation management, solutions, and a new architecture group. Mobley will report to Matt Seeley, the newly appointed global marketing technology and data transformation leader.

“Matt Mobley’s extensive industry experience and understanding of the broader market make him the perfect person to step into this role,” said Seeley. “The market is changing rapidly, and we need the most strategic, innovative thinkers leading the charge for us to meet these new demands. We are confident that Matt is more than qualified to do exactly that in his new role and with his expanded team.”

“As evidenced by Merkle’s recent recognition as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Customer Database and Engagement Agencies, Q1 2021, I believe the technology group at Merkle would be any leader’s dream team,” said Mobley. “I am very excited about the opportunity to work alongside these technologists while advancing the company’s mission to provide a holistic customer experience. I foresee a seamless transition as we continue to excel in our ability to provide the most forward-looking and strategic counsel to our clients.”

Both Rogers and Engelke have been key leaders within Merkle for more than ten years. Rogers has been responsible for advisory and consulting services within Merkle’s Technology Consulting Group for the past six years and will continue to focus on strategy as the new leader of the group. Engelke has been an integral part of driving identity and B2B practices across the business and will focus on helping our clients find the right solutions to drive outcomes in data and digital transformation.

The expansion of the Technology team aligns to the company’s transformation of service offerings under a modern data platform. The new organizational framework will allow the company to better support clients and continue to excel as an industry leader within data transformation practices.
