Merkle adds charm to Crocs’ Jibbitz digital experience

Crocs clogs and sandals are iconic – everyone recognizes the comfort-styled shoes. With Merkle’s Webby Award-honored Jibbitz™ Personalizer, an interactive digital experience tool, the footwear becomes a canvas for creativity and personal expression with Crocs JibbitzTM charms.  


Crocs was in search of an agency to bring its Jibbitz shoe charms to life online, allowing Crocs customers to show off their unique style. Merkle’s combination of design, user experience, and technology expertise make the partnership the perfect choice for this story.


Merkle implemented the Jibbitz™ Personalizer, an interactive tool that integrated it into Crocs’ Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. Through the tool, buyers can select, place, and purchase charms in a visual representation of Crocs clogs and sandals, personalizing shoes with their style and creativity. The palette includes hundreds of charms across multiple categories, including symbols and sayings, well-known characters, emojis, food, letters and numbers, sports, and more.
