Merkle Named a Leader among Customer Database and Engagement Agencies

Merkle (www.merkle.com), a leading technology-enabled, data-driven performance marketing agency, announced that independent research firm, Forrester Research, Inc., ranked Merkle as a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Customer Database and Engagement Agencies, Q2 2018.

The Forrester report studied eight of the most significant agencies to assess the state of the customer database and engagement agency market. Agencies were evaluated for their strengths and weaknesses across 32 criteria. The evaluation focused on current offering, strategy, and market presence. 

Merkle received the highest possible scores in the martech integration, client engagement, market approach, and innovation road map criteria. For first-party PII management and data enrichment strategy, Merkle scored among the highest of all the providers evaluated. According to the report, “Merkle is an all-around solid agency counterpart to the martech clouds.”

Furthermore, Fatemeh Khatibloo, principal analyst and Stephanie Liu, researcher, at Forrester, wrote in the report, “Merkle’s time has finally come – for years, its investments in media, search, and mobile seemed undisciplined, but today, that foresight is paying off. Marketers are seeking to bolster the services layer of their martech stack or who work with a varied roster of agencies should certainly put Merkle on their shortlist.”
