Easter Seals Selects Merkle as Digital Agency of Record

December 19, 2013
Columbia, MD

Merkle (www.merkle.com), a leading technology enabled, data driven customer relationship marketing (CRM) firm and the nation’s largest privately held agency, has been named the digital agency of record for Easter Seals. Easter Seals is a nonprofit organization committed to providing life-changing solutions for people with disabilities.

Merkle has a proven success record in delivering a broader CRM-driven vision that maximizes the value of nonprofit fundraising programs. The agency’s multi-year engagement with Easter Seals includes a full suite of services, including digital fundraising and marketing strategy, creative, and production management. Initially centered on digital fundraising via web, email and display advertising (all mobile-enabled), the goal  is to expand into search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), social, and other digital media to scale Easter Seals’ individual giving online.

“We selected Merkle as our digital fundraising partner because of its history of serving the unique needs of health charities. Merkle has the hands-on, practical capability and experience to help run our digital fundraising program today, combined with the holistic vision to guide us with an innovative broader fundraising strategy over the long term,” said Jennifer Bielat, vice president, Direct Marketing, Easter Seals. “Merkle’s strategic guidance and deep expertise with nonprofit organizations will help us develop lasting relationships with our supporters and propel our organization and fundraising vision forward.”

“Merkle is delighted to partner with one of the nation’s leading nonprofit organizations and assist them in growing their fundraising programs,” said Will Bordelon, SVP, vertical markets, Merkle. “Our collaborative approach with CRM-focused strategic fundraising services is the future of fundraising and will help generate measurable results for Easter Seals.”
