Merkle Names Joanne Zaiac Chief Client Officer, Americas

Merkle (www.merkle.com), a leading technology-enabled, data-driven performance marketing agency, announced the appointment of Joanne Zaiac to chief client officer of Merkle Americas. In this role, Zaiac will be responsible for the development of the strategic vision and value proposition for Merkle’s account management and client services, supporting the growth and evolution of client brands and their success in the marketplace.

Zaiac, a seasoned executive with over 30 years of advertising industry experience, joins Merkle from DigitasLBi North America, a leading global digital advertising agency, where she spent more than 18 years in senior level positions. Most recently, as the chief operating officer for DigitasLBi North America, Zaiac was responsible for driving operational transformation and delivering great value to clients while maximizing efficiencies. Prior to this role, Zaiac served as president of the DigitasLBi New York region for over 10 years where she drove the significant expansion and growth of Digitas NY and Atlanta. She oversaw the innovative, strategic, and digital marketing programs that helped transform and build brand equity for Fortune 100 brands. Zaiac also held key leadership roles at Havas Dentsu Marsteller and Wunderman Worldwide/Young & Rubicam.

Joanne Zaiac serves on the board of directors for DSW and Junior Achievement New York. She is also an executive member of She Runs It (formerly Advertising Women of New York).
