Challenge

Once again our long-term client Credit Suisse relies on the cooperation with Merkle. As one of the leading financial services providers in Switzerland, the bank is aiming to rebrand. The goal: to position itself as a modern bank for its clients with a fresh, updated image.

Merkle is implementing the technical aspects of the project and is responsible for the front-end and back-end relaunch.

One challenge is to orchestrate the multi-agency setup and combine concept, branding, user experience, design and technical implementation into a good solution.

Approach

  • The redesign of the website focuses on clarity and a consistent orientation towards the user.
  • Based on the concept and design of the partner agencies, we technically implement the website using the agile Scrum method. On the basis of the LESS guidelines, which allow SCRUM to be used scaled across several teams, we coordinate two Scrum teams with more than twelve developers.
  • The close cooperation between the Credit Suisse IT department and the Merkle development team ensures knowledge transfer in both directions and enables the transfer after go-live.
  • We retain the Adobe Experience Manager because the content management system interacts perfectly with existing marketing products.

A convincing user experience

The clear design and the convincing user experience create a user-centric approach. The basis for this is a fast, reliable frontend and a powerful backend.
