Merkle 5th Finger Launches ResponsiveJS 2.0

November 20, 2014
Columbia, MD

Merkle 5th Finger (www.5thfinger.com), the mobile technology division of Merkle, a leading technology-enabled, data-driven customer relationship marketing (CRM) firm and the nation’s largest privately held agency, has announced the 2.0 launch of ResponsiveJS. ResponsiveJS is a responsive design solution suite that can easily transform an existing website into a high performance responsive design site, optimized for mobile and tablet.

The high speed, easy-to-implement JavaScript framework transforms an existing desktop website into a responsive website without requiring a full rebuild. In addition, the ResponsiveJS Suite utilizes the Responsive Image Optimizer to deliver optimized images for each device type. The latest adaptation of the technology, ResponsiveJS 2.0, is able to deliver a mobile experience that is faster than the desktop experience with the addition of JSBoost. The revolutionary tool, designed for speed and performance, offers the ability to selectively load components of a website to deliver a highly optimized and fast mobile experience. In addition, the powerful set of technology offers a remote logger, providing insight into user activity to improve overall customer experience on the mobile site.

“The launch of ResponsiveJS, the industry’s leading responsive design solution, focused on the power and flexibility of the technology to cater to a variety of enterprise clients and websites. We launched ResponsiveJS 2.0 with the goal of providing speed and performance while delivering the ultimate customer experience through device optimization,” said Patrick Collins, SVP, Customer Experience Group, Merkle.

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI), coordinator of the U.S. standards and conformity assessment system, is the latest organization that has utilized the ResponsiveJS 2.0 technology to successfully build and launch its responsive ecommerce website for smartphone and tablet devices.
