Magrini brings his expertise and deep analytic roots from his experience working for prominent insurance and health organizations on both the client and agency side. Magrini will help Merkle provide its growing and diverse roster of clients with end to end capabilities and translate analytic data into valuable marketing strategy.
Prior to joining Merkle, Magrini was the vice president of marketing at Prudential Financial, one of the leading workplace retirement benefits plan providers with roughly $160 billion in assets under management. While there, Magrini was responsible for the participant experience and for driving positive net cash-flows in excess of $300 million a year. Magrini lead individual acquisition and retention marketing efforts across all segments of the company. In addition to his work at Prudential, Magrini served as head of marketing for Aetna's Consumer Segment, a $6 billion health insurance company that provides benefits nationwide to both the commercial and individual markets. In his role Magrini managed all aspects of Aetna's direct to consumer marketing strategy and developed Aetna's data analytic capabilites including building a robust database marketing capability for closed loop campaign reporting, profile analytics and direct mail-list management and execution.
