Job Description:

Experience : 5 - 8 Years

Must Have Skills : 

  1. Experience in Manual/Automation/API testing
  2. Good Communication skills
  3. Understand Requirements and translate them into test cases
  4. SQL (should be able to write queries)  
  5. Testing Experience on Customer Data Platforms/Big Data/Data Lake

 Good to Have Skills : 

  1. Basic knowledge of Data Architecture, Integration patterns
  2. Expertise in API testing and automation
  3. Experience in ETL/DWH/Database Testing
  4. Mentoring a team of 2 to 3 QA Associates

Roles & Responsibilities :

  1. Review and analyze system specifications
  2. Define scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing
  3. Write test plans, design test cases, design test scenarios, develop test evidences and create test SQL scripts
  4. Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  5. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  6. Track and reports defect using appropriate tools such as JIRA
  7. Validate fixes and ensure follow through to all test cycles
  8. Communicate test status to internal project team and clients(s)
  9. Develop and contribute best practices and standards for a solution or across multiple medium/large scale projects/accounts
  10. Should be able to work in Agile delivery lifecycle and test features as they are built within a sprint
  11. Should be able to work closely with data engineers, Product owners, client IT & Marketing teams
  12. Should have understanding of various kinds of data patterns - JSON, Avro, Parquet, XMLs etc
