Charlie Nock wins Rising Star of the Year at The Drum awards

Merkle (www.merkle.com), a leading technology-enabled, data-driven customer experience management (CXM) company and part of dentsu, is delighted that Charlie Nock, SEO manager, has been announced as Rising Star of the Year at The Drum Digital Industries Awards.

The Drum Digital Industries Award’s Rising Star of the Year category gives recognition to talented individuals within the industry with three years or less experience.

Nock formulated and leads Merkle's multi-award winning total search centre of excellence, the go-to market strategy for paid and organic search services in the UK and beyond, and serves a roster of clients. Nock was also the author of the ‘Delivering valuable customer experiences through total search’ thought leadership piece published earlier this year.

Sarah Painter, VP, customer experience, said “Charlie has had an impressive impact on the Merkle SEO team in his short tenure. From the outset, he was eager to learn and grow, always taking on new challenges and finding unique solutions for our team and his clients. His can-do attitude has allowed him to advance rapidly throughout the SEO team and led him to become the go-to person for our total search proposition. He is well known beyond the SEO team as one who always participates, eagerly offers his assistance, and respectfully provides critical feedback to help better the team and company. He is a rising star and future leader – absolutely one to watch!”

Stephen Pritchard, head of SEO said “Charlie’s contribution to the Merkle UK SEO team cannot be overstated. In developing our total search offering not only has he helped the department win business and awards, but he has exemplified our collaborative culture that ensures our marketing impact is always more than the sum of our parts. As well as being brilliant himself, Charlie’s unrivalled passion inspires colleagues to be their best. And he backs it up with practical support – despite being constantly in high-demand, he is always so generous with his time. Working with Charlie and watching him develop has been a real highlight of my time at Merkle, and with so much accomplished in such a short space of time I can’t wait to see what he achieves in the coming years.”
