Merkle (www.merkle.com), a leading technology-enabled, data-driven performance marketing agency, announced that it will co-host a complimentary workshop series, Marketing Analytics on Google Cloud Platform. The first in the series of three workshops will take place on Wednesday, February 28th from 8:00am - 12:30pm ET at Google’s Atlanta, GA office.
The half-day workshop is designed for marketing analysts, IT managers, architects, and developers looking to gain hands-on working experience on the Google Cloud Platform. Attendees will learn to solve very common problems around common marketing use cases and day-to-day business functions. The workshop will feature Merkle speakers Ankur Jain, SVP, cloud strategy; Craig Howard, chief solution architect; Anant Mistry, solution architecture director; and Amanda Gessert, director, marketing intelligence and analytics. Attendees will also gain working knowledge of:
- Current public cloud and big data trends
- The benefits and value of public cloud
- Google Cloud Platform overview
- Lab experience that leverages a common digital marketing use case with data from Google DoubleClick and Salesforce
“On-premises solutions are not able to support today’s complex digital marketing use cases, which require a huge IT budget and expert staff to maintain and keep the hardware up to date with the latest product releases,” said Ankur Jain. “Moving data to the Google Cloud Platform is more agile, scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective over traditional on-premise solutions.”
Merkle offers expert services across the Google marketing product suite. It is an authorized reseller and services provider for DoubleClick and Google Analytics in the US. In the UK, Merkle│Periscopix is a Certified Marketing Partner for DoubleClick Search, Bid Manager, and Campaign Manager, with certifications including Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Optimize, and Data Studio.
