About the job

The purpose of this role is to take responsibility for conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers functions properly and meets the business needs as well. Assessing code is one of the main duties of test engineers. This role is responsible for fully testing the product or system and tracking issues and defects at all levels of their testing.

As a SDET, you will play a critical role in evaluating the quality of the products we create and assisting on the development of test automation solutions. 
 
You will assist and support the more senior members of your team, while at the same time learning from them and developing yourself as a world class SDET. 
We also expect that you pass your knowledge and help the most junior members of the team to develop and learn.

  • Ruby 

  • Cucumber / Gherkin  

  • SCRUM & Jira, and agile methods  

  • Git 

  • Cypress 

  • Typescript 

  • Appium 

  • Playwright 

  • Azure DevOps  


Tasks and responsibility 

  • Developing test automation scripts 

  • Manual validation of features 

  • Writing test reports for individual features 

  • Being an active member of the development team 

  • Communicate your findings and bug reporting 

  • Support junior members of the team 

  • Communicate with customers if needed 

 

Qualifications 

  • You come from a relevant education in IT and software development 

  • You are curious and willing to learn 

  • You are thorough, professional, and quality-minded 

  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience as a QA/SDET/Technical QA 

  • You can code in one of the following languages: Typescript/Javascript/Python/Ruby 

  • Experience with one of the following platforms: Azure/AWS 

  • Experience with one of the following CI/CD softwares: Jenkins/Github actions 

  • Proficient in Git 

  • Experience working in agile setups, preferably using Scrum
