This role is remote-friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
Define the scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing
Write test plans, design test cases, develop test scripts, test conditions, test procedures, and expected results
Hands-on experience in driving the QA release cycle End-to-End
Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Debug the differences and track/report defects using appropriate tools, and ensure follow-through to all test cycles
Investigate and recommend remediation strategies for data quality conditions and process failures
Define and implement data quality standards, metrics, and KPIs.
Monitor data quality across systems and identify anomalies or inconsistencies.
Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and reports
Conduct data profiling to assess the current state of data
Audit data pipelines and sources to ensure compliance with quality standards
Communicate test status to the internal project team and clients(s)
Develop and contribute best practices and standards for a particular solution or across multiple medium/large-scale projects/accounts
Accurately estimate work effort and delivery timelines to support project and client management
Manage workload and project priorities among QA team resources
Assist the PM in project scoping and allocation of resources
Manage daily activity of onshore and offshore testers
You will report to VP, Data Engineering Lead.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field
Proficiency with the SQL language
5+ years of experience in any software quality assurance or testing position
Experience leading a group of QA team members
1+ years hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and ADF components (Pipelines, Datasets, Linked Services, etc.)is a plus
Ability to understand complex Requirements and translate them into test cases and test scripts
Knowledge of databases, data flow processes, and data modeling concepts
Strong understanding of Databricks on Azure and Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Notebooks, and collaborative workflows across Power BI).
Knowledge of data security, data privacy regulations ( GDPR, HIPAA)
Prior working experience in the CRM / database marketing field is a plus
Prior working experience on Cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS) is a plus
Prior working experience on CDP is a plus
Prior working experience testing 1st & 3rd party tags on Client's digital properties (website, mobile applications, intranet/extranet, etc.) is a plus
Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate is a plus
The annual salary range for this position is $78,000-$126,500. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
