Key Responsibilities

  • You'll provide thought leadership in support of both client and a practice area development and growth
  • You'll work with multi-disciplinary teams within Merkle to develop thought leadership material and other internal and external sales content
  • You'll participate in internal initiatives with an emphasis on development of soft and tactical skills of the team. Lead by example on how to be a consultative, flexible partner and consultant to our clients.
  • You'll interface with the clients' business and IT stakeholders to understand the business objectives and use cases and connect those use cases to the necessary data availability, ingestion, transformation, enhancement, identification and connectivity for enablement
  • You'll interface with the client and multi-disciplinary teams within Merkle to support the project delivery for a variety of project types from pure consulting engagements to solution implementations and ongoing roadmap activities
  • You'll lead discovery sessions aimed at understanding the clients' data ecosystem, synthesize complex information into concise, readable, unambiguous points of view for client and internal stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • This is remote and you must be willing and ability to travel for business purposes as required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with data warehousing/database concepts and Customer Data Platforms
  • 10+ years of experience with marketing and customer experience use cases including analytics, business intelligence and marketing campaign execution
  • Strong knowledge and experience with CRM systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Hands-on experience in CRM implementation experience, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
  • Knowledge of customer identity resolution concepts including data cleansing, matching and besting
  • Experience with data profiling and analysis and process flow diagramming
  • Software Development Lifecycle (requirements, scoping, design, build, test, deploy, maintain)
  • Fundamentals of project management/change management methodologies (waterfall and agile)
  • Requirements management (elicitation, scoping, documentation, approval, traceability, validation, acceptance)
  • Experience with data query tools/languages (SQL, Python, and/or familiarity with cloud platform variations- i.e. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc
  • Experience with work management tools (JIRA, Workfront, and/or other similar requirements or ticketing systems)
  • Mastery of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Visio, Copilot)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, AI agents, Adobe AEP, AI tools is a plus

This position will be remote reporting to Capability Lead - Business Systems Analysis Director.

Additional information

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000 - $182,850. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
