Dentsu is hiring a Solution Engineer for Snowflake Native Apps. You will help build the developer community around our Snowflake Native Apps efforts. You will be a member of the engineering program team interfacing directly with clients, producing varied content from blog posts and architecture diagrams, coordinating with pre-sales and marketing activities, and providing consistency across the enterprise. Only a candidate that combines data engineering skills on the Snowflake platform with positive and inspiring client communications will succeed. The developer experience that you will build will interface with both our internal engineers and the Snowflake users and developers that install our applications at large. Experience building teams, consensus, and active online communities needed.

You will report to the Head of Engineering, Global Solutions. Location open, must support business hours in all US time zones.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years enterprise SQL developer

  • 5+ years in a client-facing role (support or pre-sales)

  • 2+ years Snowflake data engineer (certification preferred)

  • Experience as Snowflake Native App developer

  • Snowflake certified or equivalent experience

  • Writing samples from client-facing materials (blog posts/one-pagers/web pages)

  • Comfortable with Discord or similar platform

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000-182,850. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
