About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer to drive the development and optimization of robust, high-performing e-commerce solutions. You’ll play a key role in building scalable storefronts, integrating third-party systems, and maintaining seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

SFCC Development:
Design, develop, and maintain customized solutions using SFCC (B2C Commerce), including storefront components, controllers, pipelines, and back-office integrations.

Hands-on Coding:
Write modular, maintainable, and well-documented code using SFCC frameworks (ISML, JavaScript, Node.js), leveraging SFRA and Page Designer.

Integrations:
Integrate external services like payment gateways, tax, shipping, and CRM systems using SFCC’s service framework and REST/SOAP APIs.

Performance Optimization:
Improve site speed, cache strategy, and performance using SFCC best practices and profiling tools.

Issue Resolution:
Troubleshoot bugs, production issues, and performance bottlenecks; implement robust logging and exception handling.

Testing:
Implement unit, integration, and UAT testing to ensure reliability and performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with designers, business analysts, and QA to be aligned on project goals and deliver quality outcomes.

Documentation:
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including codebases, integration specs, and deployment guides.

Required Qualifications:
5–7 years of hands-on experience in SFCC development, with strong command over SFRA architecture and Page Designer.

Deep expertise in:
Custom cartridge development
Service integration patterns (timeouts, retries, error handling)
BM configuration (Jobs, Services, Preferences, Custom Objects)
Localization, promotions, forms, and SEO implementation
Cache strategies and cache directives.
Solid understanding of SFCC data models: product, catalog, inventory, pricebooks, basket, and order.
Strong frontend and backend development skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, ISML).
Practical experience working with OCAPI (Open Commerce API) and SCAPI (Salesforce Commerce API) for managing storefront operations, customer data, products, baskets, and orders.

Good knowledge of Git workflows and CI/CD tools.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer certification (preferred).

Bonus Points:
Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Service Cloud.
Experience in headless commerce, composable architecture, or PWA implementations.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Proven experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud

Proficient in troubleshooting complex issues related to Salesforce configuration, customizations, and integrations.

Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
