The Director, Analytics (Healthcare & Non-Profit Verticals) is responsible for developing and managing the delivery team to ensure consistency and repeated best practices, innovation and data-informed decision-making. You will be focused on leading a project team to ensure that analytics is delivering value to our client organization.

Client Delivery

  • Educate partners on best practices and proper use of digital data and analytics to help make informed decisions

  • Direct the evaluation and selection of digital analytics technologies based on established criteria to satisfy client our needs

  • Communicate complex digital data insights to the client to support decision making

  • Direct the development of test methodologies based on analytic requirements

  • Provide strategic perspectives and develop necessary frameworks for key areas (marketing effectiveness, attribution, governance, testing & optimization, personalization) for guidance and to promote organizational goals

  • Manage and foster client relationships by being a strategic advisor to the client using experience with the client's business and marketing goals, not only the current project

  • Conduct regular client communication, expectation setting and management, as well as providing strategic direction

  • Identify potential issues and provide solutions to correct any scope/budget deviations

Development & Mentorship

  • Mentor with the members of the DI team, from junior to senior to help them improve their understanding of the DI industry, improve their client communication skills, create professional development plans and better understand how our DI offerings fit into the big picture for our clients

  • Work with the internal team and clients by helping the teams apply our expertise in ways to meet our clients' our goals in innovative ways

Business Development & Account Strategy

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with existing and new clients by promoting ideas that align with client's business, consumer and brand goals across all domains within Merkle Analytic offerings

  • Conduct and use strategic client planning to identify growth opportunities

  • Participate in client pitches and provide scope, technical and subject matter expertise

  • Help develop and deliver proposals and statements of work ("SOW") ensuring scope is clearly defined and costs match what is outlined in the project plan

You will report to VP, Analytics.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years working in the field of digital analytics and digital marketing - working in a client results service organization (advertising agency or management consultancy) is preferred

  • 5+ years on-the-job experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Coremetrics and WebTrends and experience in advanced web analysis methodologies

  • 2+ years in an analytics management position with focus on analytics support for online business

  • Experience creating a culture of data-informed decision-making throughout an organization

  • Collaboration ability, working across multiple partner groups, cross-functional groups, departments and leadership teams both within the organization and outside of the organization

  • knowledge of tag management, translating requirements into analytics strategies, integrating different data sources, and database marketing techniques including targeting, segmentation and modeling

  • Stay aware and ahead of emerging technologies, industry and regulatory changes with experience prioritizing and implementing within the organization

  • Experience creating strategic measurement plans, technical documentation and supporting full implementation of analytics tools

  • Experience creating and presenting analysis with insights to partners/clients, using advanced storytelling skills

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000-$182,850. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
