The challenge

More focus on users on the website and in the CMS

Thurgauer Kantonalbank is the leading full-service bank in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland. Around 180.000 customers trust in their services.

To enable the financial services provider to offer them even more convenient services, it needs a more intuitive website. A new content management system should also make it much easier for TKB's employees to work on the online presence.

Another challenge: The complex project with tight timing starts in the middle of Corona time - and has to be carried out completely remotely.

Extensive user testing

To make the website as user-friendly as possible, we test design and navigation in user tests.

Modular design system

To enable TKB to operate and develop the website independently in the future, we choose a modular but individual design system.

Intuitive and well informed through the world of finance

Banking - concise & understandable

We use the results of our user tests to make the website's information architecture as simple as possible. Intuitive navigation and a clear design improve the user experience. Merkle provided the content in the context of the website relaunch for subpages such as "Fürs ganze Leben".

Thanks to the new CMS, the website's loading performance also improved - an important ranking factor for search engines. In order to provide an even more consistent customer experience, Merkle will also be devoting itself to the design optimization of the online banking portal OLIVIA from 2022.
