Job Description

The Salesforce Architect is responsible for defining complex, multi-cloud enterprise architecture and integrations to meet client business goals, in full compliance with IT constraints.

 

He/she has a strong development background experience, and proven track record of successful delivery as technical lead for development of Salesforce projects based on Core Platform (Sales, Service, Community Clouds) in agile environments.

 

The Salesforce Technical Architect works independently, thrives in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, and is able to effectively design, test, and deploy software solutions. He/she communicates tactfully and is at ease to present convincing technical solutions and architectures to peers' panel, in client project engagement or pre-sales activities.

 

Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Design and present complex, multi-cloud Salesforce architecture and integration capabilities
  • Lead consultative engagements with client on the technical challenges related to their digital transformation initiatives
  • Lead development teams and advise on technical guidance and best practices
  • Identify technical issues/risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve
  • Client facing experience, at enterprise/platform architects / CIO levels
  • Design and lead implementation of release management / DevOps processes
  • Design solutions in full compliance with non-functional requirements (e.g. security, data confidentiality, performance, integration)
  • Be able to support on commercial proposals / pitches if required;
  • Lead some aspect of the practice's internal activities, supporting the practice manager's initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in Salesforce Apex and design patterns (min. 4 years) and Solid knowledge of Salesforce development lifecycle including sfdx and change sets
  • Knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • You can setup and enforce code quality standards using Git and / or other version control systems
  • You can break down requirements and propose solutions to fulfil those requirements
  • You can consult the client in a technical capacity and present advantages and risks of a particular solution
  • Up to date with current web technologies backend and frontend
  • Strong knowledge of various integration points of different platforms and how they communicate
  • Understands the use of JSON and XML and able to create interfaces using those protocols
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling and SQL like languages
  • You can break down requirements and propose solutions to fulfil those requirements
  • You can consult the client in a technical capacity and present advantages and risks of a particular solution
  • You have worked in small to medium sized teams before and with agile project methodologies
  • Knowledge in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Heroku or other CRM providers is taken as an advantage
  • Experience with Webservices and interfaces (REST and SOAP)
  • Experience with common IDEs and tools, such as Visual Studio Code, change sets, etc.
