Sue is a fundraising expert with experience managing high-end and community fundraising events, direct response programs, employee giving programs, national cause marketing initiatives, corporate sponsorships, individual giving programs, and the development of organizational policies, compliance protocols, operations and fundraising best practices for not for profit industries.
A homegrown Long Islander, Sue joined Northwell Health Foundation in 2014. As AVP for Constituency Programs, she currently oversees all constituency development activities including four large signature fundraising events educational seminars, cultivation and local community events, direct response programs, annual fund appeals, individual and corporate sponsorships, peer to peer fundraising and cause marketing initiatives.
Sue spent 14 years at the American Heart Association. As the national director of corporate relations, she partnered with sponsors to create large national cause-related marketing promotions and activities that funded cardiovascular research and education. As Regional Vice President of Philanthropy and Foundations, she led the launch of a major giving program for the regional affiliate. Throughout her career at AHA she and her team raised more than $170 million.
