John has been in his current role at Media Storm since January of 2013. While at Media Storm, he has formed deep relationships with clients and media vendors and has been instrumental in bringing Media Storm clients into dynamic ad insertion, addressable, and interactive advertising, as well as promoting our clients programs into an extended viewing window, enhancing the value of original programming.
John is the leader of TV innovation inside of Media Storm, evangelizing TV in all of its forms and functions, internally to our staff and externally to our clients and TV partners. Having been on the MVPD side for many years, John speaks their language and is instrumental in fine-tuning advertising products as a first mover/beta tester prior to their official market launch.
Prior to joining Media Storm, John was one of the original leaders of Canoe Ventures, the joint venture of the three largest cable operators. John was on the original planning committee while at Time Warner Cable, joining Canoe Ventures as Senior Vice President of Product Management in the summer of 2008.
From 2000 – 2008, John was Group Vice President of Advanced Advertising Technologies for Time Warner Cable. In this role, John was responsible for developing new advertising applications in the interactive, targeted, and on demand environments.
