Jody O’Donnell

SEO Technical Director

As an SEO Technical Director, Jody is one of Merkle | RKG’s resident SEO Geeks, charged with overseeing technical SEO strategy and efficiently scaling large SEO campaigns and processes.

Jody combines over 15 years of technical experience, ranging from network programming and network systems management to coding, systems integration, and technical support. Since 2007, Jody has focused on technical SEO, advising account managers, account technicians, and clients on the more esoteric aspects of effective SEO. Jody is responsible for overseeing and testing proprietary SEO tools and automating scaled elements of our larger SEO campaigns.

Jody enlisted in the Oregon Army National Guard while still in high school, later joining the Oregon State Police as a Trooper, before ultimately deciding that he must unleash his inner geek.

When not poring over technical SEO and processes, Jody enjoys riding his mountain bike on Bend’s world-class trails, coaching youth sports, and spending time with his wife and two kids.
