Dentsu Expands Global Alliance Leadership With Key Appointments

Dentsu international (www.dentsu.com), announces three new appointments to its global technology alliance group: Owen McCorry, global chief growth officer at Merkle, expands his role to lead global alliances across dentsu; Michel Mayor has been named global Salesforce practice lead; and Sean Skamnes has been named global Adobe practice lead. Together, the global technology alliance team will drive partner relationships, new innovations, and integrated marketing and advertising technology solutions for brands worldwide.

McCorry, an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, will lead dentsu’s global strategic alliance partnerships with Adobe, AWS, Google, and Salesforce, by driving strategic priorities and joint solution development for dentsu’s clients. He will continue in his role as chief growth officer for Merkle.

As global Salesforce practice lead, Mayor will steer the Salesforce practice to help brands achieve the maximum value from their investment, across implementation, integration with their existing tech stack, and ongoing management to deliver and accelerate their customer experience transformation. Mayor previously served as the EMEA Salesforce practice lead as well as chief marketing technology officer for dentsu in EMEA.

Skamnes has more than 25 years of business development and partner ecosystem management experience and has been a partner with Adobe for over 10 years, including the past three with dentsu. In his role as the global Adobe practice lead, Skamnes is responsible for the strategy, go-to-market, and growth in the creation of value realization for brands through digital innovation and data management on Adobe technology. Skamnes previously served as the global alliance growth lead for Adobe and Salesforce for dentsu.

McCorry’s global alliances team also includes Alex Langshur, who was appointed the global practice lead for Google at the end of 2021. Langshur sets the global strategy for how dentsu partners with Google and focuses on the expansion of dentsu’s community of Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experts.
