Disability Pillar

The Disability Pillar seeks to develop our inclusive culture and ensure Merkle is a safe community for those with disabilities. We strive to give staff the confidence to request or implement reasonable adjustments, with a view to tackle unconscious bias and lack of understanding with education and awareness-driving initiatives.

Disability in the workplace

We believe that differing abilities are no impediment to doing great work and should be no impediment to a deeply fulfilling work life. At Merkle, we want to be an employer where anyone with a disability, visible or invisible, is provided with adequate support and adjustments to fulfil their potential. We also want everyone to feel valued and included. Through educational programmes such as our “Demystifying Disabilities” series and training managers in Disability Confidence, we are improving our employees’ awareness and understanding of disability in the workplace. We have implemented new processes and tools that mean everyone has access to whatever they need to do their job to the best of their abilities, such as specialist IT equipment. We are proud to be a registered Disability Confident Employer and aim to achieve Disability Confident Leader status within the next 12 months.
