The Stonewall Inn

Well done! You discovered that the Stonewall Inn (at 53 Christopher Street) was the location of the 1969 riots which began the Pride movement. There were many other protests and marches before this; and, in 1970, on the anniversary of this riot the first Pride marches happened across the USA leading to the annual celebration we know today worldwide!
