
Claire leads Merkle’s marketing activity in the UK and the company’s marketing activation across the EMEA region. She is responsible for building and leading a regional marketing approach that supports the company’s growth by delivering customer experience transformation for its clients.
Since joining the company in 2017 Claire has developed a marketing platform across lead generation, brand awareness and comms.
In this time the company has grown to 4000 employees and $400m in revenue. Merkle’s EMEA marketing strategy continues to evolve to be consistent and relevant to clients and prospects across 17 markets.
Claire is a member of the UK Executive Leadership Team and of Merkle’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Executive Leadership Council. Her work in DEI spans all our five pillars, with a particular focus on supporting the ethnicity pillar on internal and external comms and marketing activity. Her goal is to help ensure that everyone who works at Merkle, and/or wants to work at Merkle, feels that they have the same opportunities to progress in their career and to feel supported to be themselves.
Claire joined Merkle from MEC (now Wavemaker) where she was responsible for building the brand in the UK to support new business, talent acquisition and client growth. Prior to MEC, she was the head of marketing and communications at RAPP, where she oversaw the marketing and communications strategy across its data, CRM and media agencies.
In addition to her extensive marketing experience, Claire was a respected journalist for over a decade working with leading marketing and media trade press.
